How to use
Insert the rope (ø 6-12 mm) into the bottom of the hole, pull the loose end to the serrated opening and pull the rope vertically downwards through the serrations. It is now ready for use!
Securing
To prevent loss of the fender, tie a half knot or figure of eight knot in the loose end. Tip: lay the knot on the place which, when stopping against the hole, corresponds to the lowest position of the fender.
Attaching to the railing
Insert the hooks of the Fastfender around the railing from underneath (ø max. 32 mm). Turn the Fastfender a quarter of a turn and allow it to drop down with the hooks on the railing.
Hanging on steel wire
Insert the hooks of the Fastfender around the steel wire from underneath. Turn the Fastfender a quarter of a turn and allow to drop down with the hooks on the steel wire. Tip: place the hooks of the Fastfender on either side of the rail stanchion to keep it in place.
Hanging on the 2nd railing
If the railing is too thick for the hooks, use the lower second railing or the lower steel wire.
Adjusting the height
If the fender has to hang higher, pull the rope vertically downwards until it is in the correct position. If it needs to be hung lower, pull the rope outwards at an angle, allow the rope to slacken to the correct position and fix the rope between the serrations.
Various applications
The Fastfender can be used on railings and steel wire as well as on roof railings and other kinds of handrails.
